- ✓All farmers growing notified crops in notified areas
- ✓Both loanee and non-loanee farmers eligible
- ✓Sharecroppers and tenant farmers also covered
- ✓No land size restrictions
🎁 Key Benefits
- ⭐Crop insurance against natural calamities, pests & diseases
- ⭐Low premium rates: 1.5% for Kharif, 1.0% for Rabi crops
- ⭐5% for commercial/horticultural crops
- ⭐Government subsidizes premium beyond these rates
- ⭐Full sum insured paid in case of crop loss
- ⭐Covers pre-sowing to post-harvest losses
